Your Challenge

As CPO, you’ll be at the helm of Speakap’s product strategy, driving the evolution of our platform to meet the growing needs of our customers. Your mission: ensure our product vision is bold, clear, and executed with excellence.

You'll work closely with our CEO, CTO, CCO, and other stakeholders to ensure our product vision not only delights users and customers, but drives revenue, customer retention, and strategic advantage in a competitive market.  Together with cross-functional stakeholders, you'll identify high-impact opportunities that solve real customer problems, especially those faced by frontline-heavy industries.

You’ll lead and coach the product team, ensuring they’re equipped to make smart decisions, work effectively with cross-functional teams, and focus on what matters most. Along the way, you’ll collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering to make sure our product direction aligns with company strategy and customer needs.

Your Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and roadmap: Set and communicate a bold, user‑centric direction that aligns with Speakap’s long‑term strategy and market opportunities, validated through customer and competitive insights.

  • Fuel growth in lockstep with Go‑to‑Market teams: Translate product capabilities into adoption, revenue, and retention; establish clear KPIs and track impact.

  • Enable cross‑functional delivery: Partner with Engineering and Design to drive work from idea to launch through predictable, iterative execution.

  • Build and mentor a high‑performing product organization: Design team structures and rituals that maximize flow, ownership, and continuous learning.

  • Champion customer obsession and data‑driven decisions: Stay close to frontline workers, turn insights into clear priorities, and focus on the highest‑impact work.

  • Communicate and advocate effectively: Articulate the "why" to executives, the board, and teams, acting as the strategic voice of the product inside and outside the company.

Who We’re Looking For

Our ideal CPO is a strategic thinker with a builder’s mindset. You bring deep product leadership experience in SaaS or B2B tech, and you know what it takes to scale a product organization while keeping the user at the center of every decision.

You’re pragmatic, collaborative, and not afraid to challenge assumptions. You know how to balance vision with execution, and how to rally teams around a clear direction. You care about outcomes, not just output — and you help others do the same.

You meet the following criteria:

  • Proven experience with a minimum of 10 years in product management, including 5 years in a leadership/strategic product role, ideally ideally as Head of Product or CPO in a scaling SaaS company.

  •  A strong strategic mindset with a proven ability to develop, own, and execute long-term product strategies that translate business goals into measurable outcomes, driving revenue, adoption, customer retention, and overall business growth.

  • Experience building and leading high-performing product teams in a cross-functional environment.

  • Customer-first mentality, coupled with strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making, with a proven ability to translate data into actionable product improvements and impact.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and prioritizing in a fast-paced, evolving company.

  • In-depth knowledge of Agile and Lean product development principles.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills, capable of articulating complex product strategies to diverse audiences (board, executives, customers, engineers).

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English, with Dutch proficiency (B1 level or higher) considered a strong plus.
