What you'll do 

  • You translate half-baked messaging into compelling stories irrespective of the channel. 

  • You take your learnings about what works and finetune our copywriting strategy. That’s why you own the tone of voice and you run point on making sure that our voice can be found throughout the customer journey.

  • Write short conversion-driven copy.

  • Produce long-copy for gated content like e-books and research studies.

  • Find and implement our brand voice.

  • Help product in establishing best practices for UX copy.

  • Test new content channels like video and/or podcasts.

  • Do research about the needs of customers and what we should do about those in our marketing content strategy.

  • Help design content for our customer onboarding flow.

  • Give our executives a voice in marketing channels.

  • Audit our content for SEO.

  • Write remarkable social posts for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.


What you’ll bring to the table

  • You are fluent in writing for online channels irrespective of how many words you can use.

  • You bring 4+ years of experience writing content for online audiences.

  • You have the superpower of growing your community of readers and ranking well in search.

  • Ideally, you are ready for your 3rd or 4th job or you have been freelancing for dozens of customers previously.

  • You have experience in producing content for all sorts of use cases, from different marketing channels to employment branding and in-product copy.

  • You know your marketing and product performance metrics.

  • You have a track record in producing copy that drives growth.

  • You are well-versed in A/B testing, SEO content optimisation, and brand copy.

  • You're empathetic to users and can easily put yourself in their shoes.

  • You love mixing up strategic thinking with getting awesome stuff done.

  • You obsess over the details.

  • You love to set your own course.

  • You believe feedback during the creative process is needed to become the best at what you do.

  • You put the data before your ego.
