Web Developer

Job description

Speakap was born in the Netherlands in 2010 when its founders worked as retail managers who struggled to bridge the communication gap between employees across shifts, departments, and locations.

10 years later, Speakap has become the #1 employee communications app in Europe, and is growing exponentially.

We support over 500 companies in 120 countries and 100+ languages.

At Speakap, we believe that technology serves its purpose only when it adapts to our customers’ needs and not vice versa. We stand for simple, direct, and efficient communication that helps people reach every employee with the right message at the right time.

How you'll help your team win

Speakap is looking for a web developer who will make sure that the web design and user experience requirements are aligned, as well as optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages, among other things. You’ll be working closely with marketing team members such as graphic designers, content producers and copywriters, to ensure that all elements of web creation are consistent. For that reason, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Your first main task is to develop user-facing features for the Speakap company website and blogs (www.speakap.com), next to maintaining them as well. You’ll also conduct experiments within the Speakap company website to tailor a better UX experience to the web visitor and increase lead conversions. Lastly, to know how the visitors behave on our website, you’ll set up GTM tags to measure and analyze the results in GA.
