What you’ll do

As a frontend developer at Speakap, you work on various aspects of Speakap’s main web frontend application, as well as on various libraries such as our UI component library and Design System.

Furthermore your will;

• Work in close collaboration with the rest of your development team on new features and improving existing functionality.

• Write, test and review code

• Use and improve tooling used within the team

• Work with product managers and designers to ensure we build the right product

• Always keep in mind security-, performance and maintenance aspects.

• Use your knowledge and experience in discussions about implementing UI strategies and reusable patterns.

Who you’ll be working with

You are part of a multidisciplinary team of developers, in which you work together to deliver value to our customers every week.

What you bring to the table

You have a passion for the latest frontend development technology and have strong attraction to UI design and implementation. You have strong analytical and problem solving skills and at least 6 years of experience in Frontend Development.

Further you…

• have a minimum 6 years experience as a frontend developer;
• can strike the right balance between "getting it right" and "getting it done."
• have extensive and recent experience with:

  • TypeScript and JavaScript

  • CSS

  • Design Systems/ Component Libraries

  • React.js

  • Redux

  • Source control (Git)

  • Testing frameworks (including E2E testing)

  • Building customer-facing applications

    • have a thorough understanding of security concepts such as XSS and follow best practices when it comes to security

    • have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English

    • have an advantage if you have a good understanding of server-side technology

Important: This position requires you to live in the Netherlands. Therefore we provide visa sponsorship in case you are not in the Netherlands. We are not currently offering the possibility of working remote.
