We are looking for a Recruitment & HR Officer to join our People Team who, together with us, makes Speakap the best place to work. Together with you, we ensure that we attract and hire the best candidates, create an unforgettable onboarding and an employee journey that is truly unforgettable, where everyone learns a lot, can grow and develop.

Your work will consist of approximately 60% Recruitment and 40% HR tasks. Your thoughts and input are more than welcome at Speakap. You are an extremely important link because you are the first contact for our candidates. And in Holland we say, the beginning is half the work! :)

Tasks related to Recruitment:

  • Focus on standardization of the recruitment process by, for example, developing standard interview questions, sharpening feedback after applications, standardizing score forms and assessments, training the team lead in recruitment together with an external agency;

  • Use our values ​​Trust, Smart & Fun during the recruitment process and test candidates for a cultural fit;

  • Lead all hiring processes in coordination with hiring managers;

  • Scheduling appointments with applicants, making screen calls and 1st interviews together with the team lead;

  • Collaborate with team leads to prepare job descriptions, job specifications and vacancy text;

  • Providing recruitment reports to team managers;

  • Send the offer orally and in writing to successful candidates and notify unsuccessful candidates and reject them in a personal way;

  • Monitoring all communication with recruitment agencies and proposing new collaborations;

  • Developing and executing employer branding strategy, promoting Speakap as a “Great Place to Work” and increasing our visibility on social media;

Tasks related to HR:

  • A source of information in the field of all HR administration related matters;

  • Handling applications with reference to Dutch Labor Law, including Visa, Residence permits and the 30% ruling;

  • Administration in the field of employment, termination of employment, absenteeism and leave;

  • Supporting the employee cycle;

  • Ensure employee data is up-to-date;

  • Automate and streamline current HR processes, including payroll for our Dutch and foreign entities;

  • Analyze data and statistics to improve job satisfaction and increase employee retention rates;

  • Identify operational problem areas and provide data-driven solutions, either through resources or training;

Job requirements

What do you offer?

  • A completed HBO education (preferably HRM);

  • Preferably 1 year of relevant experience within Recruitment or HR;

  • Available for 32 to 40 hours a week;

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills English and preferably Dutch as well;

  • Communication, sensitive, helpful and service-oriented;

  • Eye for detail and strong organizational skills;
