What you'll do
As an HR intern, your mission is to help and learn from the HR team how to create the best employee experience by initiating different projects related to culture, growth, recruitment, performance and operations. You will work on various projects, both independently and collaboratively. Some of your responsibilities include:
Becoming familiar with and executing administrative aspects of HR in accordance with Dutch employment law, creating contracts, offers, addendums, and more;
Working together with the team to improve our current performance cycle;
Organizing events for our colleagues to celebrate our diverse culture together with the Culture Crew;
Continuously updating our HR data dashboards and improving our use of data to create actionable insights;
Creating content in social media (LinkedIn & Instagram) in order to boost our Employer Brand;
Recruiting and Onboarding the next HR intern.
Making sure everyone in Speakap feels positively challenged;
Creating and managing, together with the Head of Talent management, the leadership program and all trainings offered to all employees.
Working together with the Head of Talent management to improve our Growth cycle;
Continuously updating and screening our HR growth data and improving our use of data to create actionable insights;
Thinking of possibilities to create the best possible onboarding for new joiners.
Who you’ll be working with
You will be part of the Human Resources team and you will work closely with our Head of HR, our Recruitment & HR Officer and our Office Manager. The HR team drives the people agenda of Speakap in partnership with the management team, team leads, and employees.
Job requirements
What you bring to the table
You would be the perfect fit for this role if you:
are currently a HBO or WO student, ideally studying in a relevant field such as Human Resources or Organisational Psychology;
have relevant working experience, preferably in HR;
live in the Netherlands; speak and write English fluently (Dutch is a plus, but not required);
know your way around Word, Excel, and Powerpoint;
are organised, naturally curious, results-oriented, love to take the initiative and have attention to detail;
understand how to both give and receive feedback effectively;
you have integrity and adapt easily to new situations;
are available for at least 4 days a week for a period of 6 months;
are available to join us in the office twice a week, including Monday

An internship compensation of 500,- euros per month based on 40 hours per week; or 400,- euros per month based on 32 hours per week;
A travel allowance if you live more than 10 km from the office and you are coming to the office;
A workplace where the average satisfaction rate for the relationship with managers & relationship with colleagues is 8.5;
Lots of freedom and flexibility with the option to work from home. As a team we are in the office on Mondays and every team member chooses a second day of the week to be at the office;
